The Degirmen story
Degirmen Ticaret was registered as a sole proprietorship in 1983 to supply accessories and spare parts to flour mills. Its first main product group was Sefar bolting cloth. In the years that followed, bag closing machines, moisture meters, packaging machinery and textile equipment joined the product programme.
Today Degirmen serves professional businesses with decades of sector knowledge, working relationships with international manufacturers, and an after-sales service infrastructure.

Over 40 years of growth
Founded
Degirmen Ticaret was registered and began trading in flour mill accessories, spare parts and Sefar bolting cloth.
New product groups
Bag closing machines and moisture meters joined the product programme.
Service and incorporation
The company moved to IMC, opened a machine service workshop and became a joint-stock company. Hawo sealing machines joined the product programme.
Degirmen Plaza
Degirmen Plaza was built and a branch opened at Perpa, widening the service network.
Investment and growth
Operations were consolidated at Degirmen Plaza; the Cerkezkoy engraving plant was established, an investment was made in Uzbekistan and Universal Gravur Izmir joined the group.
